ABOUT THOMAS HEINSER

Heinser first came to the United States from Germany in 1984 on a BMW car shoot. He quickly became known for his ability to set up and capture authentic situations and began working regularly with top advertising agencies and media. He established a full-service studio in San Francisco in 1986 with production, casting and post-production capabilities along with a natural light studio in West Marin in 2005.

With over twenty-five years of experience and a vast knowledge of aerial, studio and location photography, Heinser enjoys a widely versatile career. Heinser’s photographs are included in books and exhibited regularly in galleries while he also maintains a substantial commercial client base. He has a winning record of return from his clients and remains the exclusive photographer for Netjets Europe for the fourth year in a row, shooting both still and video for the private airline.

The photographer holds numerous awards from the Advertising Photographers of America and has been teaching regularly at the Academy of Art University and San Francisco State University.
